In the mood for swinging ? Sitting in my little chair * while camping at a nice spot it is often a pleasure to listen or even to watch music. To make this a bit more handy for myself I created these favorites randombuttons.
This is all and only about live performances. Just choose "your legs" and the "computer" will activate your hips. Sure ! However, there is no stop-button available here. You have been warned ...
The Sant Andreu Jazz Band plays "Minor Swing" from Django Reinhardt (1910 - 1953). Special guest is Elia Bastida on the saxofoon.
The Sant Andreu Jazz Band is a project arising from a music class. Conducted by Joan Chamorro, the big band brings together children between 6 and 18 years old. They bring you a classic jazz repertoire with lots of swing, which gained the public and sold-out some of the most important music auditoriums in Spain.
Django Reinhardt (guitar) and Stephane Grappelli (violin) performing "Minor Swing".
They composed this song in the 1930's and this is how that sounded and looked like in Le Quintette Hot Club de France.
The gypsy swing style, also known as the Hot Club de France style, actually started when Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli developed it. Ooh yeah ...
The Rosenberg Trio is most famous for performing the gypsy swing in the more recent times. Their "snares" performances are really stunning.
But there is so much more to enjoy. This is the Incredible Phenomenal Superior Unbelievable Performance of the Ohio State University Marching Band. Have you ever seen a show like this ?!
And here is the bonus ! A selfie of me, playing the harmonica. Just joking, I always wear a blue hat 😎.
* I never listen to music while cycling while I think it is too dangerous to Not have audio-contact with the surroundings.
Besides that Natural sounds and views belong together.
Even Especially if there are no sounds.
And just remember : 1+++ swings per day keep the doctor away !
